Thank you for your feedback. The locations for traffic signals on Mountain View corridor were determined when the road was first designed and opened. An agreement was made to place the signals at designated locations to provide access to subdivisions and businesses from the new highway. Part of that planning agreement is that no additional signals beyond those listed will be approved or built. The highway crossovers were built to plan for these future signals, such as the ones just recently activated at South Jordan Parkway and Lake Ave. There are crossovers in Riverton and Herriman that are also planned for future traffic signals as well. The segment of Mountain View south of Old Bingham was built as a frontage road to a future freeway, so it has more business access than the northern segment, but there will still be limits as described above on the number of traffic signals allowed.
