Title 76 Utah Criminal Code-Chapter 6 -Offenses Against Property-Part 2-Burglary and Criminal Trespass-Section 206-Criminal trespass. (Effective 5/9/2017)-(b) knowing the person's entry or presence is unlawful, the person enters or remains on or causes to enter or remain unlawfully over property to which notice against entering is given by:
(ii)fencing or other enclosure obviously designed to exclude intruders; or
(iii)posting of signs reasonably likely to come to the attention of intruders.
UDOT has "NO TRESPASSING" signs placed on our property therefore if there are trespassers it is considered criminal activity and should be handled by local law enforcement to remove the individual(s) as it can be a potentially dangerous situation that our employees are not equipped to handle. Once the individual(s) have been vacated, it is a collaboration between UDOT and potentially the police and health department to assist in clean up of the area. Please contact your local police department for assistance with eviction and we will follow up afterwards to clean the area. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
