The elevator at St. George is down until end of March. This weekend, Jan. 26 and Jan. 27, the subway line from Union to St. Andrew is closed. These two issues together have made the entire University/Spadina line inaccessible to those who need access via an elevator. They can not get from the Bloor line to the University/Spadina line; They can not get from the University/Spadina line to the Bloor line or the Yonge line. HOW IS THIS ALLOWED? I realize a weekend may not seem long to some people, but to someone who needs to get from King Station to St.Clair West on Saturday to see their Dr., its a problem. And the TTC accessible vehicles are not a viable option for ALL of those with special needs.
