Description
Traffic cop at intersection of N Peachtree and Peachford Rd horribly back up N Peachtree in the mornings. Takes more than 20 minutes to get from Tilly Mill to I85. This is ridiculous. Something needs to be done. N Peachtree street has far to many feeder streets to remain a 2 lane road. I hate to say it, but this road needs to be 4 lanes to support the community

Both as of recient. There is a crossing guard or police officer directing traffic at Peachford and N Peachtree. Then 200 feet later at Cheasnut. Between the two of them, traffic does not move.
At 7:45 when the person directing traffic at Peachford gets off, traffic frees up.
I understand we need to keep our kids safe getting to school and folks going to work from Peachford need to get on N Peachtree. Our streets are far to overcrowded for all of this people and vehicle traffic. Our city is being choked.
Honestly, N Peachtree, Mount Vernon, Chamblee, and Tilly Mill all need to either have a dedicated left turn lanes running the length or widened to 4 lanes. Traffic needs to be freed up so our community can continue to thrive.
