I alerted the crews working on the sprinkler system weeks ago that this was happening ... it seems they don't give a damn. They looked at me like I was speaking Greek.

The City and the neighborhood need to recognize there is a vandal who takes joy in destroying these sprinkler heads. It has happened many times over many years. It's one of us.

It is mostly the mowers. You can see the tracks in the grass and the sprinkler heads that have been chewed up by the blades on the lawn.
What I find most disturbing are the foolish teenagers that play tennis at midnight with flaming tennis balls.
