Description

This tree split & fell on the house on July 11th 2017. Why are we still having to look at it?

I have recently noticed small children climbing on this. Seems to me it is a real safety issue!

There is a compliance ticket on this. I am following up with Code to see how long the property owner has to resolve this.

The City's Building Safety Department has sent a letter to the property owner. There is a dispute with the insurance company. The Department is going to follow-up with the owners today to get a timeline to get this taken care of.

While the tree has been fenced off to keep children off of it it has been 2 weeks as of tomorrow & nothing seems to be happening.

It is my understanding there is a Show Cause hearing in Court over the removable of the tree. I will get additional information and report it.

This problem was finally resolved as of today. The owner of the house drove down from T.C. & paid someone to remove the tree as the insurance company still has not come through.
