Back in 2010 the Board of Selectmen adopted new parking regulations Town-wide. There were three zones in Town that they felt necessary to have three hour parking restrictions. The three hour zone surrounding Framingham State University and Framingham Center recently added Library Street to this list.
Commercial properties in the area were losing business due to vehicles parking and not moving for the entire day.
I understand that you are the only residential property on that street. This restriction does not take place overnight. If you were to park on the proper side of the street after 6pm, you need to move your vehicle by 6am, or take the chance of getting a parking ticket.
There is only one section in Town that has a resident parking sticker program, and that is around the commuter rail train station. This was to persuade commuters from parking their vehicles on the residential streets.
The only way to potentially rescind the parking restriction on Library Street would be to attend a meeting of the Traffic and Roadway Safety Committee.
They are an advisory committee to the Board of Selectmen and discuss matters such as these. If a recommendation is proposed by the Committee, it would then need to go before the Board of Selectmen for approval.

The issue I am discussing is non enforcement of the parking change. What good are these changes if they are not enforced? The answer is not at all. You concidered the matter closed after you never adressed the point of the complaint. Thats ridiculous. At least speak to the point of the complaint. Actually enforce the parking change

Agreed. Surprised this was closed without even addressing the original complaint. It seems like the ultimate solution would be to have a resident parking pass for the one house on the street. From what I've heard it sounds like everyone is complaining about FSU cars there, not residents or business customers/employees.

I see Adam. So in other words, instead of the town employee tasked with dealing with a complaint making a phone call, now I have to because you just want to close out your tickets. Interesting. If a mere 2 minute communication between two town departments is too much to ask for, what then is the point of this medium to solve problems?
