Per Technical Services: the contractor's MUTCD compliant signs have been repeatedly stolen during the legally permitted obstruction period. Contractor has been talked with and will be acquiring another sign package and will be remain fully MUTCD compliant - issue closed.

Public Works, I have a photo of the sign at Bradley St. leaning against a tree facing the wrong way! It was not stolen. It is just poorly designed and installed. The sign at the actual site literally directs pedestrians to walk out into rt. 7 traffic with viewlines blocked by the construction trailer. I have video of a child following this sign and walking out into traffic. Did Public works approve the sign at the site?Please take our safety concerns seriously.

Here is the sign at Bradley St. It is facing the wrong direction. It is by no means "MUTCD compliant."

Here is the sign at the actual site directing pedestrian into traffic which they can't see because of the contractor's trailer. This is an absolute violation of MUTCD standards.

An adult and child following the arrow into traffic with sightlines blocked. Dozens of children walk this route daily.
