At least COH CLEAN UP THE TRASH IN THE STREET!!!!!

Yes, get the big household trash out of there! The other day when it was raining and the street was ponding in the righthand lane, the homeless had taken it upon themselves to put out a huge patio umbrella in the lane to block cars from splashing them. People were trying to turn right at that intersection during rush hour and were slamming on their breaks because of the umbrella in the street. These people do not have any 'drive' in them to change their lifestyle choice. They are content there. They need to be made uncomfortable. I've talked to police officers who work Downtown and that's what they said. They need to be get up and get moving. There needs to be an ordinance to prevent those people from being there. The Chron refers to that group under the overpass as 'residents' - unbelievable! It's dangerous for EVERYONE. Maybe the local news stations needs to look into all of these inquires on this site to have this area cleaned up. People flag this same area weekly!

I've written Turner, the Governor and anyone else I could think of, getting no where and the problem continues to GROW! Not just here but also the tent city off Wheeler.

I've noticed more frequent waqlking into and standing in traffic on San Jacinto between Pease and Hadley.
