This is a temporary fix until work completed in sparrow field

Mr Bill Campbell and I discussed this issue on the phone today 9/25 and he now understands that the issue is not about the cart path near Sparrow field but it is about the cart path near the lagoon and where there is no "curb" present. Fill dirt was put in where the wooden forms had been removed but not nearly enough fill dirt was used. A bicyclist wanting to cross the cart path so as to reach the lagoon to fish, picnic, photograph or whatever would have to dismount to be able to cross over the cart path. If he did not then a serious accident could occur. Bill Campbell stated that this path was not completed as he had to take his men off of it for storm related duties. So Sean Burgess, please leave this open until the project is completed. Thanks

Staff inspected cart path edges and found that some edges were filling in naturally. Staff will inspect on a regular basis to insure there is not an issue with drainage causing erosion of the edges.
