We have documented this issue and spoken with the event producers about this issue. We will work hard to make sure this doesn't occur again if the event returns. Sorry for this inconvenience!

This issue occurs with most all events and the patrolling and enforcement is the main issue. Our concern is every event not just the most recent of the past weekend. Please document and work on a fix for the 2018 season. Thank you.

Agreed, as a Lake Street resident and daily Park patron, that Waterfront Park events THIS summer have intruded far outside of the Park boundaries and had negative impact on the whole neighborhood: boat access, bike path, parking problems, vandalism, disorderly conduct... and not a peace officer or other City employee in sight at all ever! Sad!

The issues reported have been addressed. Requests to fix all events when each functions differently is not a reasonable issue for this program to address. The event season for 2017 has ended at Waterfront Park and we will begin to put a plan together for 2018 with the suggestions brought forth here into that planning process. Thank you for your comments, there are no longer trucks and event production equipment blocking the east side of the parking lot.
