Description

Vegetation on the north side of Glacier Way is growing in the street and blocking sight distance, especially at the hill and curve. This is an ongoing problem where only a small section is addressed once a year. WE NEED CONTINUAL COMPLIANCE before someone is killed. Cyclist use this street and drivers cannot see them in time to slow down. What is needed to maintain this section of roadway between Green and Glacier Way in a safe, compliant manner. I am will ing to help as needed.
Also autonomous vehicles are being tested in the area. One ticket from 2015 before the county road commission joined SeeClickFix is "Thank you for reporting Vegetation reducing sight distance (#1955519)."
