I contacted DOT and the graffiti is still there. Nothing has been done. Turns out it is close to a LIRR track. It is still an eye sore and needs to be fixed.

I contacted the NYSDOT this morning and they will be removing the graffiti. They have been there and taken pictures. There is a process that has to be followed since it also involves the LIRR. It may take a while but it will be removed.

It has been 6 months since I first called about this graffiti. The graffiti is still at this location which is sad because now it is spring and the children are beginning to come and play baseball and soccer and all you see is graffiti behind them. It is terrible for such a lovely community.
