Description
Due to Hurricane Irma, there is a lot of brush up and down the alley of my home. There is also brush in front of the houses in the 4th Ave S block. I was not sure if this needed to be reported or if the city is going through all neighborhoods doing a clean-up after the storm. Would appreciate attention be given to this matter as quickly as possible. I hope there is no charge for reporting this. Thank you.

Residential storm debris curbside pickup has commenced and will be handled by City staff from various departments working together with a debris collection contractor. We ask residents to place tree limbs behind the curb, off the street, in front of the house. Alley collection will occur once curbside has been completed. Don't mix-in other storm debris with the vegetation. For example: wooden fences are considered storm debris. For an illustrated example, visit:

No need to call - City crews are working and will eventually get around to all neighborhoods. Note, it may take several days, even weeks, to get to everyone. Residents who wish to drop off their brush or recyclables can do so at one of the city's brush sites where extra city staff has been assisting residents with their drop-offs. You can find the Debris Clearing Schedule on the City's website linked below. It is updated daily to reflect the work completed as well as show upcoming areas where crews will be:
