Thank you for bringing this project to our attention. The Planning Staff will add it to the Sidewalk Master Plan.

Thanks! How long will it be before this gets started? It was originally reported back at the beginning of October of last year and is just now being fully addressed. Can this be left open until it is completed? Thanks again!

The Master Plan allows our staff to keep a close check on priorities for our City's sidewalk system. There are many neighborhoods in our city where sidewalks are needed. As sidewalks are completed others continue to move up the list. Our goal is start the project within one year if possible. Thank you for bringing Barkwood to our attention.

If it's going to be that long can this be left open until it's completed? It's already been over half a year since this was submitted.

Reopening

Thank you for reaching out to us, LoveHuntsville. Our Huntsville Connect app is used to create work orders. As Zoning mentioned, the sidewalk has been added to the sidewalk Master Plan. To assist with resolving citizen requests as quickly as possible, all new sidewalk requests are directed to James Moore in our Planning Department.
