Description
I live at 227 Coral Street on the Island and my neighbor at 233 Coral Street has a large dying pine tree on City Property leaning in a fashion that will fall her house, my house or both when it falls. The tree is now leaning on a line as well as the ground on the north side of the tree is being pushed up by the tree roots as the tree continues to lean further to the south and soon will fall. I understand that the City of Venice has addressed this issue with the property owner and refuses to take the tree out even though it is on City property. Why does the City refuse to take fix this dangerous issue? Ted Thomas, 227 Coral Street. 423-718-6452.

Vehicle on the property which is not complying with code ( plugged in and parked in a landscaped area). The owner has ties to the city and is not required to follow city ordinances , code, or just neighborly etiquette . Good luck with your tree issue... at least you have it documented now .
