Description
Hi there,
The man who owns the house next door is illegally advertising the home for temporary housing (e.g., HomeAway or AirBnB). My understanding is that this is illegal in Malden. If that is not the case, and this complaint is unfounded, please provide me with that helpful information so that I can take alternative action (e.g., selling my home).
Thank you,
Nicki

Hi, Nicki. I also reported this same property after the very disruptive party there a few weeks ago. I received a reply from the city stating that they told the property owner that he could no longer use the property for short-term rentals. It's clear that the owner is not heeding the city's notice. The property is still being listed on Air B&B:

Thanks for reporting it again. It looks like the residents of this neighborhood need to be very diligent about repeatedly reporting this property until the owner finally complies with the local ordinances, or the city takes stronger / further action.
I am eager to see what reply you receive from the city.
