wow. Is that from yesterday morning? It barely rained at all.

That picture was taken earlier. Yesterday was only half of that. When the cars go by the waves knock over the garbage cans sending trash in all our yards.

Thank you for your e-mail to Mayor Peter Bober regarding your concerns with flooding in the Rotary Park area, we apologize for the delay in responding to you promptly.

We forwarded your e-mail to the City's Department of Public Utilities for their information and response, and they advised the following:

"This area was inspected the afternoon of the complaint and was found to be fairly dry. In the attached photos you can see where the water level had reached. We found no evidence of a garage being flooded. The water was gone in under 24 hours, which is a standard amount of time for percolation of the water after a rain event. The alley has drainage and the swale areas appear to be functioning as intended. As for the floating box covers, I have forwarded the information to the City contractor in charge of handling the issue."

Not fixed.

The area never flooded until Rotary park was redone. It seems they pitch the parking lot right toward our homes. They planted trees along the alley that have floated away. Now we have a giant mud ditch raising mosquitos.
