The area is over run with stray dogs. In the mornings, before 0900 A.M. one can count as many as 10 different dogs out on the roads eating the "Road Kill" from the night before.

People bring their unwanted dogs and cats into Montura Ranch Estates and leave them instead of taking them to Animal Control in Clewiston.
