What is with the stop signs on Lake St? They all seem to be 4 way stops. I think it would be appropriate to have stop signs at the cross streets for safety's sake. But, the 4 way stops are ridiculously redundant. I hope I wasn't contributing to the wage (with my taxes) of the dimbo who thought that plan up.

People don't stop at them anyways. When I am on Lake Street, I stay put until the other car blows through the sign, then I proceed.
The way people disregard the stop signs is just an accident waiting to happen to the kids in the area.

Absolutely need to enforce them before a child gets killed. I live right at a stop sign, and maybe 1 out of 8 cars actually stops going east-west. North-south traffic (on Lake street) actually seem to stop more regularly. If the city has budget problems, consider enforcing the stop signs.
Perhaps they SHOULD be 2-way stops but while they are 4-way, PLEASE enforce them!
