This issue has not been resolved. The Parks Dept has turned a blind eye to the problem. Park users can barbecue any where in the park even though there are restricted area. I have spoken directly to Parks Commissioner William Castro who had promised a solution but we as residents across the street from the Morningside Park have not seen a real solution. Meanwhile, trees, vegetation and the pond eco-system is being destroyed.

I have lost complete faith in the Parks Dept. senior management.
