Description

The sidewalk along Columbia between Cumberland and Alberta street is disgraceful particularly between Cumberland and Debeck. It hasn't been clean, is overgrown, with weeds, sand and leaves. Although it isn't part of the designate bike lane, it is used by almost all cyclists and very narrow because of the build-up of dirt and weeds to the point where it is dangerous as cyclists are not required to have bells on their b ikes (Edmonton requires them) so the choice is the road or the lawn where that tis possible. Also there is hedge encroachment past the vacant lot that could use a trim back (Same on Cumberland by house #382). Also, steps leading down to Sapperton Landing park have considefrable debris (paper, cigarette butts, leaves weeds etc.) on them.
