Note how the traffic does not stop even for a pedestrian in the middle of the road.

Note how parents have to run across the street because there is no signage or CROSSING GUARD!

There needs to be a red light camera at Nancy Creek and Ashford Dunwoody and also one outside Montgomery.

It also makes no sense there is not a crossing guard there.

Improve the crosswalk signage from Cambridge Square to Montgomery. This isn't limited to just that school, many elderly cross towards the Cambridge side and exiting Blackburn is also a nightmare and high risk.

I would hope Brookhaven takes a different approach then Dunwoody. Let's not throw out public service people to manage the traffic but let's throw them out to hold people accountable and make money to do more improvements. I don't believe a red light camera or crossing guard is going to help, one just stops traffic for people to cross, and the other has a delay. Living at Ashford Dunwoody / Johnson Ferry, Montgomery mornings make a 3 mile commute 40 minutes.

In the first video, put a police officer over the hill but in view enough to watch. Each car that passes that way and doesn't stop, don't manage the traffic, advise the driver to pull to the street to the right in the video (don't block traffic) and have a second officer be the issuing officer. I have big concerns that Brookhaven is going to go down the Traffic Mgt expense versus increasing the accountability of the laws in place. Dunwoody no longer has police officers at the 2nd ravinia exit. They could have issued 65 tickets the other day while I sat at the read light. That is serious revenue and starts people realizing, their is laws for safety.

All the above are good ideas but a red light camera with signs warning people in advance is a no brainer. I can sit all day long and watch idiots run the red light at Nancy Creek and Ashford Dunwoody going down the hill. A red light camera is the only thing that will solve this as they work 24/7. Go to areas with the installed and you never see people run an intersections as they know they will be caught 24/7. Even having a cop give tickets now and again does nothing to stop people who don't live in the immediate area. Only a camera with big signs will work 24/7.

Likewise you have to have a crossing guard at Montgomery for child safety. Who cares if people take longer to comute, its thier problem for living so far from work. A car does ot have right of way over children trying to cross the road safely to get to school.

It seems that they do have crossing guards out, new flow for carpool drop off, etc. Is this something that should remain open and aging?
