Add to that drivers coming from Rt 208 wishing to make a left onto 299 towards the bridge have no turn signal to help them as well. That whole intersection is bad and locals avoid it when we know there is higher than normal traffic in town. The pedestrian lights there stops traffic coming in all directions which adds to the backup all up through town... Add to that the problems of pedestrians that jaywalk across the crosswalks stopping the flow of traffic making legal turns and it's one of the biggest bottlenecks in town...
