Descrizione

The ramping and curved portions of Dix Toledo roads to enter and exit from I-75 have very poor visibility at dusk and a night time. There is no overhead lights and the road markings and signage non existant.
While heading south on Dix-Toledo and entering I-75 North bound opposing traffic comes into the left turning lane head on to you. The poor visibility of road markings and lack of overhead lighting creates a very dangerous intersection. Bigger and more noticable signage is need to identify I-75 ramps.
Please take a look and drive this at dusk and in the night time hours. We need help here!!!

I agree this bridge is an accident waiting to happen. It is in desperate need of overhead lights. Someone is going to go over and down those steep hills. Hopefully it doesn't take an injury or fatality to get this fixed.

I absolutely agree!! With the salt residue on the road it covers up the painted lines...very dangerous when you are heading northeast over the ramp to get onto NB I-75..you barely make it up the hill and on-coming traffic is sitting right there waiting to turn left onto SB I-75. This new bridge was poorly planned. Also, the degree in which you need to gain access onto NB I-75 is very sharp. This area is an accident waiting to happen. For all of the grief this road construction caused last year, the end result if very dangerous.

An absolute nightmare at night and when salt and snow cover the markings. Even on the best of days, due to lack of signage, lighting and navigational markings, we've witnessed and experienced far too many near accidents in the short time it's been open. For those of us that are familiar with it is one thing...I feel for those that aren't aware of the dangers lurking there, We'll see what it takes to resolve the problem but in the mean time I"ll pray and if I have to, I'll avoid the area.

Who can we complain to about it? I have been meaning to call, I guess the SOM, but maybe I should start at the local level? They need to put in reflectors and lengthen the space provided for turning left onto the freeway entrances., Not sure what they can do with the NB entrance ramp to improve it. It still has a lump of hay stuck on the left side of the ramp that has been there since they ended construction! A real sloppy job.

I believe the first step is county and they take it to the state level...can't believe they haven't been inundated with calls already but have to keep the squeaky wheel turning so that's where I'm starting. I've had another study started regarding another issue but it seems an eternity to realize any action. As stated, lives are at risk here...can't believe no one could see this in the making.

I avoid this exit/entrance and go out of my way to do so. Our life, safety and welfare are more important then trying to save 5 minutes and jeopardizing my family and our safety! Whoever designed this new exit/entrance should be forced to use it on a daily basis, at dusk, dawn, in rush hour sleet rain and snow! How many fatalities will it take to change it?
