It is not the light that is the issue though. Because the next two set of lights when turning left only hold a small amount of vehicles, this causes a ton of problems. The freeway exit and the area surrounding the North entry and South Exit ramps needs to be redone to accommodate the large amount of traffic. Even more so now, since those new homes are under construction by the Stadium and by Canyon Lake.

Agreed! This issue has to get fixes as soon as possible. Today a semi truck almost hit me trying to cut me off , if i did not move to the grass it would have hit me. They need to do a exit only lane or something to not get card to cut off, its getting ridiculous.

this issue is getting worse, seems like nothing is being done about it.

I agree. I have been reporting this issue for over a year now. Also, they did something to the timing of the lights at Summerhill and Railroad Canyon, and now it is WORSE! Now it takes 4 or 5 light cycles to get from KFC to the signal light if you need to turn left. If you are on Railroad Canyon, it takes longer now too. It took me 10 minutes to go from the light by Wal-Greens to the turn left at the light by In-N-Out. That is ridiculous and we have had MANY near misses and people running the red lights at all the lights between Mission Trail and Summerhill as they are impatient and frustrated. Not to mention the backup on the freeway to get off there now. This is forcing people to exit at Main and go down Franklin at higher rates of speed than posted.

It is just ridiculous how this issue continues to go on when it is such a dangerous problem. These traffic signals at this location are out of sync and nothing is being done about it. I disagree the traffic lights are a good part of the problem last week for at least 3 days in a row it took me 25 to 30 minutes to get from canyon hills road to Grape street. the lights there only allow about 5-6 cars per cycle. Then people get impatient and run the red lights and cause accident or near accidents. The other day an older gentleman ran the red light with a trailer, almost hit me and the blocked the intersection. This is a very common scenario at that intersection. I am a paramedic and do not want to respond to fatality accident involving any of my neighbors or my family. please get this resolved before someone else dies there.

Steven, I think that you meant to say that you agree, I would like to see a police officer direct traffic at this location until this issue is resolved, I would like to know if this can be done pkease,

Well, I read that a roundabout is going to be the solution, but it will take several years and several million dollars to accomplish. Please correct me if I am wrong.
