Description
These are 2 photos of Autumn Street. One is of a 20" x 20" pothole that is growing daily. As the photo shows, the pavement for several feet all around it is breaking up. There are softball sized chunks off loose asphalt in the middle of the hole. There are fissures like those around the pothole that are opening up all over the street and on the adjoining streets (Kenmore, Rosemont, etc.) The other photo is of the edge of the street near the intersection with Kenmore. It shows the loss of approximately 2 1/2 feet of asphalt from the edge of the road. This is a direct result of erosion resulting from the lack of curbing. While patching may help in the short term, by mid-winter the asphalt is going to be breaking up all over the road. The whole road needs to be re-surfaced to prevent this from happening. And curbing needs to be installed to fix the erosion problem that is eating away at and shrinking the width of the road. Thank you.
