The homeless vagrants are tarnishing the City of Treasure Island's image by congregating at the most
visable location to tourists on Gulf Bl. and 107th adjacent to the new corner location of the Chase Bank!
I remind everyone that we are a beach city with our own police department! I do not see this problem in
any of our neighboring beach cities that are part of the Pinellas Sheriff's Department. Maybe it is time to
reconsider the huge costs of keeping our Police Department which is ineffective in moving this very visable vagrant problem some where else!!

The secondary yard waste inquiry may have been taken care of since your notice. It will be added the the Wednesday, Oct 25th list of things to do for Sanitation-just in case.
The City has completed the storm debris removal and has resumed Yard Waste Wednesdays.

I just wanted to remind everyone that we need to clean up the vagrancy issue downtown at the corner of 107th and Gulf Blvd. We don't need to see a bunch of vagrants camping out and repulsing our tourists who come here to enjoy themselves! This is not the image we want to convey to our guests! Vagrants
sleeping on the sidewalk and streets is not cool! Do something about this please as I do not see this
occurring in our neighboring beach cities!!
