Description

I've just reported this by phone to 203-946-8075, but to emphasize that I think it needs careful attention I will also post it here. The traffic signal at Edwards and Prospect fairly regularly but intermittently gives no time in the cycle to cars coming from Edwards. I've seen this problem repeatedly over the last six months. When it happens at rush hour the line of cars goes back to Whitney, because this is a much used route. Eventually, in my experience after about 5-10 minutes, about 5 signal cycles in which no time is given to Edwards, the problem seems to clear, although I have a sense that the problem may repeat one or more times together before returning to normal operation.
