I just sat through 3 red lights trying to get accross Garfield!!

I got caught up a couple of nights ago on 19 and Garfield going eastbound. I got stopped at a red light and when it change it went from yellow back to red. Here, all this time I thought it was too many beers or smoke, but it was the light.

If you are going east bound on 19 mile at garfield try cutting thru ERNIE'S parking lot or the bank, i've never done it, but i see people do it all the time. west bound works at wendys...

brown292bare, it is illegal to cut through a parking lot, but is it ok because you say it is. By the way how is that cars on the left at a 4-way stop having the right of way working out for you?

brown292bare...That little maneuver will cost you $135.00/$185.00 in a construction zone, if you get caught. Be careful, statements like that may also draw the attention of police that monitor this board looking for good places to sit and watch. :-) Have a nice Day now...

kings mill i did not say it is okay to cut through, i said if you can't wait your turn in the left turn lane try cutting thru.i never said i did it,i've seen others do it!!! as far as the 4 way stop maybe you should go to the secretary of state office & get the drivers book they have for all drivers...it tells drivers the right and wrong way to drive...called proper etiquette on the road....by the way ,did you take a drivers ed. course or just apply for a voter card & get a licence free????? maybe out of a box of fruit loops???

When approaching intersections without traffic signals or signs, or four-way stop intersections, yield to the driver on the right if you reach the intersection at the same time as another vehicle. Yield to any vehicle that reaches an intersection before you.

Simma don naw LOL...I see both sides, that light is pretty ridiculous only I got held up on the Garfield end today instead of the 19 side. Also, I was always taught if at a 4 way stop two cars stop at the same time, you yield to your left...I'll have to look that one up. Also, I love Ernie's I used to work there long ago and admit I sometime I do cut through to pick up my Thai food lunch but only in hopes that I'll run into my old pals there. I figure they wouldn't mind lil ol' me, they don't open till 3anyways, at least that's how it used to be.
In the grand scheme of life is this really something you want to get all riled up over? So now get them panties out of a wad and make nice you two...

This light is horrible for all directions, but in my opinion the turn lights need major improvement.

One problem I notice out there. When the light changes, people don't take off. They roll. They get up to the speed limit by the time the next light stops them. 0 - 45 MPH in two miles. The people in Clinton Twp are just lousy drivers. Most are scared to drive and that is an accident waiting to happen.

This is a bad intersection all around.
