We can contact owner to try to encourage them to assist in this removal. However, trees limbs falling between private property is purely a private matter between property owners. There is no Code violation here that a municipality can enforce.

If it is not an owner occupied home, is there a caretaker? My issue is the owner of the property that abutts mine had the infamous free tree planted on his/her property, but the branches are now interferring with my garage gutter and siding. You do not need permission from anyone to cut tree limbs overhanging your own private property.
