Eversource was permitted to follow behind the contractor performing the sewer repairs in order to ensure that once the roadway is paved there would be no need for further work in the newly paved surface.
This has extended the anticipated construction period allotted for the initial sewer work during this season and we understand your frustration.
Eversource has been instructed to ensure that driveways are not blocked by vehicles. They will be reminded of this requirement. The contractor is not allowed to use individual outdoor faucets. The Engineering Division will speak with the contractor and the site superintendent immediately regarding this matter.

Thanks for the reply. My additional feedback includes tires marks on lawn left by Eversource and rose bushes run over by other careless 'workers'. What recourse do residents have?

Does the town inspect (QC) the work completed by these contractors? While I do not lay asphalt, many of the trenches were not filled to street level.
