The Engineering Department originally inspected the site on 4/15/2015 and re-inspected the site on 5/17/2017. We have determined that the sidewalk, walkout, and driveway apron do need to be repaired. The site is on our master list for repairs.

Based on our inspection of the condition of the sidewalk, this site has been elevated to our claims list, as have the two adjacent properties. Our contractors are currently on other job sites. We are scheduling the site as our on call contactors and budget become available and we work through the claims list. Please be aware we schedule our claims list on a triage basis and handle the worst first.

We want to further acknowledge your claim. We have our contactors working on other sites but temperatures will quickly not allow for additional sidewalks to be repaired this year. As our budget allocation allow, we hope to continue repair work in the spring, typically after April 1st when the construction season begins again. Thank you for reporting this issue.

The Engineering Department re-inspected the site on 8/24/2021. Based on our inspection of the condition of the sidewalk, this site has been elevated to our CLAIMS list. We have determined that the sidewalk, several walkouts, and driveway aprons do need to be replaced. The entire west side of the streets' sidewalks need to be replaced from #2 through #40. Also, while the east side of the streets' sidewalks need to be replaced as well, the west side will be replaced first. There is also a need to have the sidewalk along the south side of Churchill Road to be replaced. This work will be completed after the west side. Based on current funding, we do not have a good estimate on when the replacement will be conducted, nevertheless, this area must be corrected, and will be done as quickly as I can get additional funding.
