There isnt any more noise at these addresses than any others in a urban row house filled neighborhood!!. ..If I work every single day Ms. Joann!!!!, why cant we party on the weekend??? ..When you call the police, do they ever issue any tickets or arrest anyone??!! No because we arent being a nuisance. If someone gets into a scuffle it is our duty as a community to call the police and get it resolved, yes. But at the same time, Why go on a vendetta and threaten me to my face and to other neighbors that you want to have me and my children put out making it seems as if we are home all day and all night long making a ruckas?? You as well tupapiface??..You guys want peace and quiet then maybe you should move to the suburbs where you are the only house on the block. Until then get the stick outta ya butts, and if we are disturbing Ms. Mildred, which I doubt since she comes and sits on her porch anytime people are around, then I apologize. Get a LIFE...and while u do that..ill utilize my yard a little more but I'm sure you will find a way to complain then as well!!!

something is going to be done we pay taxes not rent we have worked everyday to pay for our homes the landlords are going to be held responsible or they will be fined we should not have to sleep with our windows closed because of noise no one cares what you do behind your walls when you take it outside its the publics bus and this has always been a city but there is no reason once oever to act a fool you want to make noise and distrub go move out to the country where noone can hear you is just a matter of consideration respect for the people who you live near and with you

Were trying to get us off the street in the snow storm when were were helping to push ur daughters car off the ice??? I don't live near this address, but feel sympathy for the neighbors. Obviously the people living in 819/822 Roebling have a major attitude problem. If people tried harder to be civil, we wouldn't be here. It should be common sense to not make a racket all day and night. The police are overworked, and unfortunately for the decent, quiet people in the city, are not issuing the tickets like they should be. But perhaps if we all start to complain more about it, they will. It's okay to celebrate your lives without disturbing everyone else.

I agree anon, but its not ever all day..or all nite..there have been a few instances only...and I dont even have the company over that i did before because of it. I work all day during the day..go to school at night..every once in a while I will have a gathering...pple get outta hand, we resolve it...the last time it was a bit much and i went to my neighbors to apologize and they all said they either it was ok or they didnt hear anything...Im not claiming to be right at all, but its not as bad as she is making it seem. If there is a gathering its only on a Friday OR a Saturday..and not every. ANd now from me not at all. But they have to consider noise doesnt just come from 819 and 822..its all up and down our block from ppl who do and do not live there...I even hear it when i am trying to sleep...but i dont make a big deal out of it..pple are just having fun sometimes and we arent old yet..we are young WORKING class ppl...

Hi 819&822: You seem like you're trying, and that's good. But I've never -- not once -- had a party where people got out of hand. That sort of stuff needs to stop, especially since it shouldn't be happening in the first place. I'm talking in general, not just at you, though if it happens at your place, you should be more careful as to who you invite over.

You may be young and working class, but the thing of it is, someday, you (hopefully) will not be so young. Or your hours will change at work. Or (I hope not, though it tends to happen), there will be a death or some other type of hardship, and you just want some peace and quiet so you can grieve, or you'll have a fussy baby who needs to sleep (along with you) desperately. And during those times, you just wish for some decency and neighborliness. People are in these situations all the time, all around you.

You say there are other noisy people up and down the street. But change starts with you. Instead of the noisy gatherings in the street and on porches, host dinner parties. Gather in the backyard. Talk about important issues, and not smack about each other, which gets people agitated and outta hand.

And trust me when I say young I dont mean young in my twenties..I am just alot younger than those that live around me and thus so is most of my company...I understand that and Yes that is why we have been gathering (if at all) in my backyard. My issue is dont blame it on these 2 addresses when it happens all around her, last year she was blaming it on 828 and 829, and telling her cop cousin they were kingpins?? COme on now that was completely untrue and mind you..they still live there...it happens to my left and my right and i did lose my mother Feb 09...i didnt go on a tyrant about who was playing their music too loud, or arguing and threatening to kick their daughter out all up n down the street, i kept to myself with my mind occupied with my own issues. I have lived here over 3 years, i didnt just move in. I mind my BUSINESS..if someone is making noise as long as its not in my house i dont worry about it. I know everyone isnt like this and that is fine hence my endeavors....I am neighborly and I am respectful, i speak to everyone and look out for all of the children on the street. But No I am not perfect, nor do we live in a perfect world...
Some things are just uncalled for (just like the noise)...
