Or if it remains to please move the light on the left hand side (coming from N. Main) around the bend so drivers can see it before they are right on top of the crosswalk (right side can be seen all the way down Grove from N. Main)

This light is also on Warren Street and is doing a nice job of slowing/stopping traffic so we can cross the road safely. I'd like to comment on the one mentioned above though. I do use it when crossing with my dog from Goldstein Path to the other side of the street. I like that the light is there, however, we do still need to attempt to cross with extreme caution as people are coming from both directions driving too fast to respond to the light. I am grateful the light is there, as before it was activated my dog and I were already proceeding to cross when a black Mercedes came too fast from around the bend. My reaction worried me as I was kind of frozen. Fortunately he was able to stop the car about 10 feet from us. So, after that incident, I'm very leary crossing at that light with it flashing. I agree with the commenter above that it's a great light to have at a high traffic crosswalk. I wish I had a suggestion for further improving the safety at the Goldstein Path crosswalk on Grove.

I will speak with the DPW about these types of lights, but I'm sure it just comes down to costs and who/how/where the funds are coming from. I will continue to monitor this area for any traffic violations as well. Thank you
