Description
East-bound traffic on Hearst no longer has left-turn signal, but west-bound traffic on Hearst still has red light during green phase for east-bound traffic. Either east-bound traffic should get a left-turn signal on to northbound Oxford, or both directions should have green phases without turn signals.

This issue is NOT resolved. Nothing has changed at the intersection since I noted this issue, and there continues to be either a lack of left-turn signal for east-bound traffic or an unnecessary red-phase for west-bound traffic. (There is even a sign that says that east-bound traffic should yield on green, even though there is no portion of the east-bound green phase where west-bound traffic also has any green signal)
I know for a fact that at least one member of the City's transportation commission has brought the issues at the intersection up to staff in the past. If the City is planning a change to the intersection that will address this issue in the near future, it would be great to have explained here, rather than simply have the issue closed without response or resolution.
