That alley way has been reported by me at least twice and the trash dumping continues. One afternoon I actually saw a woman walking her small dog that got too close to the cyclone fence where the pit bulls stay, and the small dog was pulled into the fenced area and clawed and bitten to death. The lady owner of the small dog was horrified. This unattended fenced lot needs to be checked out by somebody in the city as it is becoming a quality of life issue in this neighborhood.

Thank you for reporting! Public Works has an illegal dumping team whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. On average this team removes 1,200 pounds of trash from public property every day. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. If you see someone dumping illegally please report the incident to the Vallejo Police Department.

That car lot is a nightmare. I feel sorry for all dogs all the way around. Those dogs are neglected. That's the 2nd dog they've killed. It has been reported many many times to the sheriff, to code enforcement etc... The first round of dogs were released to Solano County Friends of Animals and I paid $200 dollars to have them released. I then worked with SCFA to rehabilitate one of the dogs and she is now in a wonderful home in San Jose. The other dog had 6 months of a better life, but could not acclimate and ultimately had to be put down. The point being, that car lot is unattended and the city does nothing. It is actually illegal to neglect dogs and goes against city codes. Does a child have to be mauled before we do something? Either take care of them or take them to the humane society. For awhile they had a lot attendant and the dogs were getting daily attention. Now with the PG and E project, they are cooped up in a pen 24 hours a day. It's repulsive. I have been fighting this battle for almost 2 years. Come on City of Vallejo. Help us out!

This issue has now become another issue regarding the fenced car lot. Please send someone out to check on this unattended car lot with these dangerous pit bull dogs.

This is no longer just an illegal dumping problem, but moreover a dangerous animal, unkempt lot issue that has affected the neighborhood, making it a quality of life issue. Could we get somebody from the city to check on this used car lot's business license, not to mention the animal cruelty issue that should also be addressed. Thank you.
