Description
Yesterday I had commercial landscapers next door that were using extremely loud blowers to blow leaves- registered 75+Db peaking above 81. They having been servicing this house and others in the neighborhood for several years and on Saturdays the noise is defeaning. I have spoken to one of the crew leaders and for several months the volume was less. Not so yesterday. I believe the "boss" has modified the blowers to run on "high" all the time and there may not be mufflers installed.
Yesterday I yelled to them that it was too loud and the "boss" dropped his blower and ran over to me and told me that it as "not my property and to leave them alone" or something similar. I told them I was going to call the police for a noise violation. (Which I did). As far as I know either APD didn't come or they were done before they arrived.
I realize blowers are common- I use one myself sometimes. But there is loud and too loud.
I have a picture and phone number of the business but will not post. Trying not to fight with my neighbors but enough is enough.

Yes, I did that but next time I guess I need to be quicker. What I really need to know is at what noise level I am within my rights to complain. I have Googled the code but don't seem to find a specific decibel number they should not exceed. I know they are not allowed on Sunday at all.
Thanks.
