Description
The two lights at Stephenson Hwy at John R and Stepenson Hw at Nine Mile need to be coordinated so that cars on Stephenson Hwy do not need to stop at both lights. This is a slowdown and chokepoint for traffice that does not need to be there. This is a problem for me every single morning, wasting gallons and gallons of gas for no good reason.

Stephenson Highway does not intersect with either John R or Nine Mile.
Also, Stephenson Highway is a city street. The "smart" FAST-TRAC signals are primarily on county roads. So, while it's not clear what intersections are being referred to (9 Mile and the I-75 Service Drive?), these are probably not FAST-TRAC signals.
However, several independent studies of the FAST-TRAC system have confirmed that it is significantly reducing travel delays and reducing accidents.
This sounds like a situation of traditional "fixed-time" traffic signals that are not properly coordinated.
Please confirm the location and, if these are signals under our jurisdiction or which we maintain, we can review the signal coordination.
Thanks,
