Description

When the city had Olney Ave. repaved this past summer, it closed the City Inlet, (Sewer Inlet), opening drastically; allowing it to clog-up after precipitation.
Now I am not a certified Civil Engineer in studies of water formations.
But I would like to suggest the City of Philadelphia reconsider the design and/or type of City Inlet installed at the southwest corner of this intersection; also located at the bottom of a gently sloping hill.
This area would be better served with an open faced type/design of City Inlet, (Sewer Inlet); to prevent accumulation of water and/or snow at this side of the intersection
