Description

The traffic light at the Intersection of Route 7, 33 Danbury Rd & Kensett Ave is on a motion detector. It will stay green for the traffic on Route 7 N & S and will only turn red when it senses motion for a car on Kensett Ave, then allowing the cars waiting in the parking lot of 33 Danbury Road to leave the parking lot and turn left. The light is less than a minute before it turns green again and traffic on Rt 7 can resume. It is extremely dangerous and frustrating. Why aren't there sensors on both sides of the light? If you are sitting in 33 Danbury Rd, you can sometimes be waiting for up to 16 minutes for a car to come from the other direction of Kensett Ave to make the light change!
