Description
The "stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk- state law" sign that sits between the lanes of Monmouth St. where it crosses 1st St. has disappeared. Without it, people coming off the highway race through this intersection. It's way more dangerous for pedestrians and especially the school kids in the morning. Can we please replace it?

Due to the winter season, pedestrian crosswalk signs have been removed from the Jersey City streets in the anticipation of snow fall this season.
Therefore, all requests for pedestrian crosswalk signs will resume in the spring season.
If you have an urgent traffic matter in your community, please contact the Department of Traffic and Transportation at 201-547-4470.
