Agreed - lots of pedestrians and cyclists cross from Cambridge Park Drive path to get over to Minuteman Bike path out to Arlington. Need to have traffic calming elements in place to slow cars down coming off of Route 2. Unless there is traffic to slow them down, all cars on the access ramp travel well in excess of the posted speed limit - it is very dangerous...

Spashley - there isn't one. You will never know that MassDOT even acknowledged it unless you see something done in that location. Their email is a black hole. Some of my previous attempts to contact them bounced.

There is no ticket number. I left a message about this request for the District 6 office of MassDOT. The path itself is maintained by the Cambridge Department of Public Works.

The off-street bike path north of the T parking garage in Cambridge is on state property.

I'm actually talking about the part of the Fitchburg Cutoff Path that is on the Cambridge side, coming from Belmont, WEST of what you highlighted. As usual, everyone punts responsibility when it's an edge case. Even though it affects the users of a path that is maintained by the CDPW, CDPW punts responsibility because the HWY crossing in question is State owned and dubiously maintained (even though the other side is still Cambridge's responsibility - still before the yellow area you highlighted).

You'd think because this affects CDPW users, they would be our advocates and representatives to get this issue fixed. Instead, they say it is not our problem, we told them, go and follow up. It's been in this limbo for almost a year now.
