Aren’t there ordinances against this stuff?

I am tied of Canton looking like a trash heap. People not taking care of there property. Garbage and trash all over. Rental properties not being taken care of.

The garbage men are the worst!! They pick up the trash and scatter most of it all over the place. Our streets in my neighborhood are deplorable. Nobody has respect for our city.

The city dosnt care about the way it looks. It all about the Hall of Fame.

My husband and I️ go around picking up trash all the time. It’s not our trash but we do our part. Sometimes you just got to go out there and do it.

I pick up the trash that people let blow around and the garbage guys drop. And the cars that go buy Had two big bags. My Mom and Dad thought me better

Yes we do it all the time. I appreciate you doing that. There needs to be more people like us in canton.

Better question, why does it take the city so long to enforce the ordinances? You would think that a city that promotes the HOF as a destination spot would put more effort into cleaning its house up. Or is that just for the HOF area and during HOF week?

All slumlords, and there are far too many. Where is our mayor and city council? Asleep at the wheel.

Not asleep. Just AWOL. If they put an ounce of effort into the slumlord problem that is put into the HOF, it would be amazing. Check the complaints that are on here regarding a bar owned by a city official. Illegal parking, noise, neighborhood parties that close streets. Residents complain and nothing is done.
Build an edifice with fountain in downtown in the shape of a football, but ignore neighborhood problems. The city may not work at the HOF, they just work for the HOF. Time to start working for the citizens of the city who are ignored by this administration and council.

I agree. Canton has declined for the past 15 years. People moving out. Slumland lords. Rentals not kept up. Complains to many on this sight. I don’t think any government offices give a dam
