This is not a city of St Petersburg issue, it's a utility issue, I started with Duke Energy and got them to come out and evaluate the situation. They confirmed that the lines diwn are not Duke Energy lines, they are Spectrum cable/ tv lines. I just spoje with Spectrum and they've opened a ticket on this and will be providing a phone update to me by 7 p.m. Eastern tonight. They expect to have the wires repaired on Friday this week.
UPDATE: I received a call from Russell at Spectrum, They have opened case # 303251858 and made a commitment to evaluate/repair the lines on Saturday between 8 and 10 am, however, Russell cautioned that they will not repair the lines if they belong to Frontier.
Update: Spectrum came by just now to check out the down wires. They do not belong to Spectrum. He says they belong to WOW, Verizon. and Frontier. Now that I've arranged for both Duke Energy and Spectrum to come assess the situation, I would be delighted if someone else wanted to pick it up from here. Thanks.
Not city maintained wires, will send request to utility Companies - (appears to be WOW and Frontier) - most cables have already been removed but will see if can be properly terminated.
