Russell Drive along the school is already posted as a 15 MPH Reduced Speed - School Zone during school entrance and dismissal times. What else were you looking for?

Speed bump control on the west side of the Azalea Elementary School would be a good start. Posted signs that reflect a 15 mph during school hours is not enough deterrent to prohibit excessive speeders on Russell Dr N.

2010 was the last time we conducted a speed study. I will schedule a count and post the results here with our recommendation once completed.

Yes - the results of our 24-hour speed study is back and the results warrant an on-site review to monitor traffic during school times. I have that scheduled for next week. We will complete our analysis and report back after that. If you would like to meet on-site at that time please call me to arrange at 893-7843
