Per DPW's Technical Services Division Engineer Technician: right now we are focusing on adding some new crosswalks at several points along North Ave, the first of which should be going in next year. You can follow updates on this project at this website:
https://www.burlingtonvt.gov/DPW/North-Avenue-Unsignalized-Crosswalks. The good news is that these new crosswalks are planned to have the rapid flashing beacons (like those on Pine St). Once we’ve got those new crosswalks in, we will be
going back and looking at improving existing crosswalks - issue closed.
