Driving south on San Pablo ave and making a left turn onto Moeser Lane, El Cerrito CA with the green turn arrow , many pedestrians ignore or are too stupid to know that the turning car has the right of way and they are actually breaking the law. Their "walk" signal is not "ON" , but proceed to walk across Moeser Lane as if they have the right of way. when the green turn arrow appears. Bigger pedestrian warning lights or a change of the signal's rotation is needed to help these pedestrians from causing an accident. Or increase police patrols and issue tickets to the law breakers. If and when a driver of a left turning vehicle honks their horn, they receive a mean or vulgar response form the law breaking pedestrian. Scary near miss occurs many times around 6:00 pm, especially when the pedestrian is wearing dark clothing, either of hitting the law breaking pedestrian or being rear ended by another driver.
