There is a huge drop and bump from where they improperly filled in the excavation in the right driving lane on York street heading toward Broadway. Water main or gas repair was done in this area weeks ago. They excavations have not been prepared properly! I bent my rim because of this improper road repair. Winter is coming and this needs to be addressed before New Haven has lawsuits for damage wheels, tires and suspensions, not to forget it can cause a serious accident for automobiles, bicyclist, and walkers. Please address the situation. Also the next block (also on York street) has a bad repair job too from similar work done at the same time.
