I understand that the plants are suppose to make the biker riders feel safer but they are too large. In addition the bike riders still prefer the sidewalks. I' not sure who sat down and determined the plans for 1st St. S between 5th ave and 2nd Ave S but it's not working. Not by a long shot. Can someone more grounded in reality please take over. Finally, did everyone forget the Grand Prix is right around the corner? They start tearing everything about and blocking streets as early a Feb. 1st.

The pedestrian crossing lights don’t work anymore. Near miss today while crossing the street.
